It is quite strange that Turkey being a NATO member decided to start a series of provocative and illegal actions against another member of NATO Greece. Nikos Dendias, the Greek Foreign Minister announced referring to the relations of Athens and Ankara.
“The latest announcements of Turkish officials, who question the sovereignty of Greece over the islands of the Aegean Sea are absolutely unacceptable and not only for us. They were rejected by the European Union, US State Department, Foreign Ministry of Great Britain and other countries”, Dendias stressed.
At the same time, he mentioned that Athens is constantly thriving for a constructive dialogue with Turkey based on international law and international marine law.
