US Ambassador to Turkey Jeff Flake in an interview with Turkish state Anadolu agency welcomed the normalization process between Turkey and Armenia.
“That's great as well. We welcome that. We've been very happy to see the meetings happening. One in Russia, another one in Vienna coming up. And we want to play whatever role we can play in the background to see that happen. But it is really encouraging, what is going on. I believe there are flights now going from Istanbul to Yerevan. That's a great sign,” Flake said.
