NATO Secretary-General Jens Stoltenberg said on his Twitter account that he had a telephone conversation with Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev.
“Good call with Azerbaijani President Aliyev. We addressed regional security and Russia's military build-up in and around Ukraine, including implications on energy markets,” Stoltenberg tweeted.
Stoltenberg thanked Azerbaijan for increasing gas supplies and being a reliable energy supplier to Europe.
