The work carried out in Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh) with the funding of ‘Hayastan’ All-Armenian Fund is mainly a large-scale program, which, based on the post-war realities, includes both the housing sector and various road construction projects.
During the last week, Minister of Urban Planning of Artsakh Aram Sargsyan and Deputy Director of ‘Hayastan’ All-Armenian Fund Ararat Khlghatyan visited a number of active construction sites in the territory of the republic, got acquainted with the process of construction works on the spot.
They first visited the Askeran region, monitored the construction of three new districts in Hovsepavan and Ivanyan communities. Then they toured different construction sites in the capital (apartment buildings on 82 Arakelyan, Tigran Mets, Tumanyan streets, new districts of Ajapnyak and Tumanyan streets).
The agenda also included the field of road construction. A visit was made to Martakert region, to the construction site of the new Martakert-Nerkin Horatagh-Chankatagh highway under construction, and to the Askeran region, to the section of the highway being improved to Astghashen, where representatives of construction companies discussed issues related to the process of the work and the deadline.
