The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the United Kingdom decided to evacuate the embassy staff from Kyiv, Sky News reports. According to the Foreign Office, the embassy in Kyiv will remain open, but will not be able to provide personal consular services.
British citizens have been advised to refrain from traveling to Ukraine, and those who are already there are advised to leave.
Israel has begun evacuating the families of diplomats from Kyiv. Authorities advised Israeli citizens living in Ukraine not to approach “hot spots” and those planning to visit Ukraine to refrain from doing so.
On February 11, the Norwegian Foreign Ministry called on its citizens to leave Ukraine, and the South Korean authorities decided to ban their citizens from traveling to Ukraine on February 13, and urged those who were there to leave the country immediately. The Latvian authorities have advised their citizens to leave Ukraine. Earlier, the United States called on its citizens to leave Ukraine.
