Georgia reported 19 968 coronavirus cases, 23 675 recoveries, and 55 deaths on Friday, the official figures show, the First Channel reports.
Georgian capital Tbilisi recorded the highest number of 9 493 Covid-19 cases within the last 24 hours, followed by the Imereti region with 2 760 cases, and the Shida Kartli region with 1 184 cases.
A total of 64 187 tests have been conducted in the past 24 hours throughout the country. Among them, 30 833 tests were rapid tests, while the remaining 34 354 were PCR tests.
The daily test-positivity rate stands at 31, 11%, while 30, 24 % in the past 14 days.
Georgia’s total case tally reached 1 418 027, among them 1 178 151 people recovered and 15 459 died.
There are 41 people quarantined, 6 098 Covid-19 patients are hospitalized, 1 869 asymptomatic and mild symptom patients are placed at the government-assigned facilities.
As of February 11, 2 768 137 people got the Covid-19 vaccine, with 3 174 in a day.
