Georgia reported 22 444 coronavirus cases, 13 245 recoveries, and 53 deaths on Thursday, the official figures show, the First Channel reports.
Georgian capital Tbilisi recorded the highest number of 10 931 Covid-19 cases within the last 24 hours, followed by the Imereti region with 3 281 cases, and the Adjara region with 1 876 cases.
A total of 68 392 tests have been conducted in the past 24 hours throughout the country. Among them, 42 943 tests were rapid tests, while the remaining 25 449 were PCR tests.
The daily test-positivity rate stands at 32, 82%, while 29, 93 % in the past 14 days.
Georgia’s total case tally reached 1 398 059, among them 1 154 476 people recovered and 15 404 died.
There are 41 people quarantined, 6 085 Covid-19 patients are hospitalized, 1 858 asymptomatic and mild symptom patients are placed at the government-assigned facilities.
As of February 10, 2 764 352 people got the Covid-19 vaccine, with 3 454 in a day.
