The council of the French city of Montpellier unanimously decided to name the park near the city hall ‘Park of Armenia’. Mayor of Montpellier Michaël Delafosse wrote about it on his Twitter microblog.
“Montpellier has very strong ties with Armenia. There is an inseparable friendship between the Armenians of our city,” the Michaël Delafosse post reads.
