As we reported earlier, eight Armenian prisoners of war (POWs) have returned to their homeland with the mediation of the French Government and EU.
The plane carrying the POWs was greeted at the airport by Anne Louyot, Ambassador of France to Armenia on behalf of the French Government and Head of the EU Delegation to Armenia Andrea Wiktorin, on behalf of the EU delegation.
Armenia’s Deputy Foreign Minister Paruyr Hovhannisyan greeted those present, who highly appreciated the assistance rendered in the issue of this urgent humanitarian issue.
