Turkey will not refuse the planned arms supply transactions with Ukraine, including the possible sale of the additional drones, which caused Russia’s complaint.
“The military cooperation between Ankara and Kyiv is not directed against Russia, but it will not be violated for the benefit of Moscow”, Bloomberg quotes Fahrettin Altun, the Head of media and communications in the Turkish presidency.
“The trade turnover between Ukraine and Turkey has increased by 59% last year, reaching to 7,1 billion dollars. One of the spheres, where a progress has been registered is the military industry. Currently Ukraine has bought 12 Turkish drones and announced its intention to buy new ones at the level of the Chief of the General Staff of the country”, Altun said.
