Exactly 30 years ago, on February 3, 1992 the first U.S. Embassy was opened in Yerevan. Chargé d'Affaires ad interim Steven Mann and the first Foreign Minister of independent Armenia Raffi Hovhannisyan were in Hrazdan Hotel, where the Embassy rented rooms for its newly arrived staff.
