The administration of the US President Joe Biden does not describe the possible invasion of Russia as “imminent”, although thinks that it may happen at any moment. Jen Psaki, the White House Press Secretary reported.
According to her, that word made an impression that Russian President Vladimir Putin had already made a decision to invade Ukraine.
The US administration still thinks that Putin has located the troops on the border in a way, that Russia can invade the country at any moment, but according to Psaki, Washington does not know if Putin has made a decision or no.
Last week, during the briefing, Psaki mentioned that the invasion of Russian troops to Ukraine is imminent. This provoked the displeasure of the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy, who called not to spread panic.
