A free trade agreement between Ukraine and Turkey is expected to be signed within days.
That’s according to President Volodymyr Zelensky, who spoke at the opening of the seventh session of the Verkhovna Rada on Tuesday, February 1, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.
"We provide guarantees of financial stability for our country. We are preparing to send a strong economic signal – to sign within these two days the Free Trade Agreement with Turkey. Our groups are working so I'm sure we will agree on everything," said the President.
As Ukrinform reported, the prime ministers of Poland, the Netherlands, and the United Kingdom will arrive in Kyiv on February 1-2.
Also this week, the President of Turkey is expected to visit Ukraine.
