Within the framework of the works aimed at eliminating the consequences of shelling, capital repair works on the damaged roofs of residential houses continue in Karmir Shuka and Taghavard communities of the Martuni region of Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh).
Due to the fact that the roofs of many private houses in these areas have suffered significant damage as a result of active battles, besides there were already roofs in need of repair in the pre-war period, thanks to the program, roof repairs are almost complete in these communities.
In addition to the roofs, the houses damaged by the shelling are being repaired or, if necessary, a new house is being built on the site.
In the mentioned communities, private houses are being repaired for the families with killed members and missing relatives during the 44-day war.
At present, the roof of 104 private houses in Taghavard community has already been repaired, and the works of additional 41 will start soon. A total of 152 have been repaired, and 104 will be repaired in Karmir Shuka in the near future.
