We will not set a task for Armenia’s Armed Forces to gain territories. The task will be to protect the territorial integrity and sovereignty of the Republic of Armenia. Armenia’s Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan said about this during today's press conference.
“However, I want to state that we should not put all the burden of our security on the army. It is very important that with the peace agenda, foreign policy we will be able to lighten, and not aggravate the role of the Armenian army and Armenia’s Armed Forces,” Pashinyan said.
At the same time, Pashinyan mentioned that Armenia should have an efficient army in accordance with modern standards.
