At the beginning of the year, on the initiative of the Primate of the Artsakh Diocese, Bishop Vrtanes Abrahamyan, a new initiative was launched, which should raise the church-state cooperation to a new level.
Clergies have been attached to all state administrative and law enforcement agencies. They must regularly visit and take spiritual care of the employees of the mentioned agencies.
On January 20, the Primate of the Artsakh Diocese met with the staff of the Artsakh Government. State Minister Artak Beglaryan also attended the meeting. His Grace also introduced to the government the newly appointed director of the Christian Education and Propaganda Center, Deacon Gor Gyurjyan, outlining the ways of further cooperation in this field.
Artak Beglaryan thanked for such an initiative and expressed hope that the meetings would be continuous.
