On January 21, Ruben Rubinyan, the Deputy of the President of the National Assembly of Armenia received Sergey Kopirkin, the Russian Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Armenia.
The sides highly evaluated the continuous development of the Armenian-Russian allied relations.
There was a reference to the settlement of the Armenian-Turkish relations. As the Special Representative of Armenia-Turkey dialogue, Ruben Rubinyan thanked the Russian side for hosting the meeting of Turkey’s Special Representative and himself in Moscow and for the readiness to support the settlement process.
Ruben Rubinyan assessed the first meeting of the Special Representatives to be constructive, mentioning that the Armenian side is interested in solving clear issues through a content process.
The Ambassador, in his turn assured that the Russian side will continue making efforts to settle the Armenian-Turkish relations.
