A commission on demarcation and delimitation has not been set up yet. Armenia’s Minister of Foreign Affairs Ararat Mirzoyan stated this during the Parliament-Government question-and-answer session.
“The conditions under which the commission can start working are being discussed. We have expressed our public position on that. We are now working in that direction. We are convinced that unless concrete mechanisms are introduced, concrete steps are taken to increase stability and security at the border, mechanisms that will help prevent further clashes, this commission will have difficulties in establishing and working” said Mirzoyan.
According to him, the dates are not clear; however, it is spoken about an imminent process.
