On January 17, the Ambassador of the Republic of Armenia Hrachya Poladyan held a meeting with the Minister of Communications and Information Technologies of Egypt Amr Ahmad Talaat.
During the meeting, Ambassador Hrachya Poladyan conveyed to the Egyptian minister the official invitation to participate in the 3rd International Exhibition of Arms and Defense Technologies ArmHighTech-2022 to be held from March 31 to April 2 in Yerevan.
The interlocutors referred to the issues of cooperation in the field of high technologies, the organization of the Armenian-Egyptian Information Technology Business Forum. The parties also discussed cooperation in the context of the regular session of the Armenian-Egyptian joint intergovernmental commission planned to take place in 2022, and of the events dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the establishment of the Armenian-Egyptian diplomatic relations (9th March, 2022).
The two parties stressed the importance of the process of expanding the legal treaty framework.
During the conversation, the Egyptian official repeatedly referred to the absolute positive role of the Armenians and the Armenian community in the history of Egypt.
