We are in favor of establishing relations and opening its borders with Turkey without preconditions, Armenian Parliament Deputy Speaker Hakob Arshakyan stated at the Parliament session.
"That logic has not changed, the Armenian Government is still acting from those positions, and we are in favor of opening the borders and normalizing relations [with Turkey] as soon as possible without preconditions. It is in the interests of Armenia and the Armenian people," the NA Deputy Speaker said.
NA Deputy Speaker, Special Representative of the Armenia-Turkey Settlement Process Ruben Rubinyan, in response to the question of one of the deputies, referred to the meeting of the Armenian-Turkish Special Representatives.
"The meeting took place at the Russian Foreign Ministry’s reception building in Moscow. As a result of the meeting the Armenian and Turkish foreign ministries issued press released which presented what the special representatives have discussed. The Russian foreign ministry also issued a press release," Rubinyan said.
