The United States warmly welcomes the Armenian-Turkish dialogue, the involvement of the two countries in diplomacy and dialogue for resolving existing disagreements between each other.
This was stated by the US State Department in response to a request from the Armenian Voice of America, commenting on the January 14 meeting in Moscow between Armenian and Turkish special envoys, Armenia’s Parliament Deputy Speaker Ruben Rubinyan and former Turkish Ambassador to the United States Serdar Kılıç.
Representatives of NATO and the European Union, as well as the Russian Foreign Ministry, responded positively to the meeting.
