Based on the decision of the CSTO Collective Security Council to send CSTO peacekeepers to the Republic of Kazakhstan for a limited period of time in accordance with Article 4 of the CSTO Collective Security Treaty Organization, the RA Armed Forces have sent peacekeepers to the Republic of Kazakhstan (100 servicemen).
During the mission, the peacekeeping unit of the Armenian Armed Forces will carry out functions of protecting the exclusively strategic buildings and infrastructures.
