The Turkish company Pegasus applied to the Civil Aviation Committee of Armenia with a request to launch a Yerevan-Istanbul flight.
In a conversation with ‘Lurer’, the press secretary of Armenia’s Minister of Territorial Administration and Infrastructure Sona Harutyunyan said that Pegasus has applied for two weekly flights since February.
Harutyunyan did not specify when the decision will be made. The application is currently being studied.
Flyone Armenia has announced its intention to operate three charter flights a week on the Yerevan-Istanbul-Yerevan route.
