Through the mediation of the Russian peacekeeping forces, Armen Abrik Verdyan, a citizen of the Artsakh Republic (Nagorno-Karabakh), who appeared in the territories under the Azerbaijanis’ control this morning after getting lost, was handed over to the Armenian side.
Relevant measures are taken by the National Security Service of the Artsakh Republic to find out the circumstances of the case of a citizen of Artsakh crossing to the Azerbaijani side.
Earlier, the Artsakh’s Human Rights Defender stated that as a result of negotiations between the Artsakh security forces and Russian peacekeepers, the civilian is with the Russian peacekeepers and will soon be handed over to the Armenian side.
