Today, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan received Tatyana Bakalchuk, General Director/Founder of the Russian online platform Wildberries.
Saluting the activities of Wildberries in our country, the Prime Minister noted that the Armenian Government considers the attraction of investments in the economy, the continuous improvement of the investment environment a priority, and is ready to support the development programs of leading companies in Armenia.
Tatyana Bakalchuk assessed the cooperation as effective, which is evidenced by the growth of both the sale of Armenian products and the volume of e-commerce from Armenia through Wildbury. In this context, she attached importance to the cooperation with "HayPost" and informed that next year Wildberries company plans to make large-scale investments in Armenia, to build a new regional logistics center.
The interlocutors discussed issues related to the prospects of deepening cooperation and development of e-commerce, exchanged views on the construction of a new logistics center, increasing the level of access to goods and services, and expanding the markets for the export of local products.
The Prime Minister once again saluted the development plans of Wildberries and reaffirmed the Government's readiness to support the implementation of new investment projects with its tools.
