The Pentagon is working on a plan to provide Ukraine with intelligence that will help it respond more quickly to a possible Russian “invasion”. This decision is reported by The New York Times (NYT), citing senior officials from the US presidential administration, Joe Biden.
Intelligence will include images of Russian troop movements near Ukraine's borders, NYT sources said. This information will help the Ukrainian military prevent the attack if it is released in time.
At the same time, representatives of the US administration pointed out the possible danger of such a step. So, in their opinion, Kiev can use this data to strike first.
Earlier, Bloomberg reported that Russia continues to build up troops on the border with Ukraine and is pulling military equipment into the region. The company cites satellite images, which allegedly show that tanks, artillery weapons and air defense systems have been moved to the border since November.
