At the initiative of President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin, the traditional non-official meeting of the leaders of member countries of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) will be held in St. Petersburg on Dec. 28.
As reported the Kremlin’s press service, among the attendees will be the President of Azerbaijan, the Prime Minister of Armenia, as well as the Presidents of Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan.
Earlier, Spokesperson of the President of the Russian Federation Dmitry Peskov had reported that Putin and Lukashenko might have a personal meeting in St. Petersburg on Dec. 28.
