On December 23, the Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan, the Council of Foreign Ministers of the CSTO received Stanislav Zas, the Secretary General of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO).
Ararat Mirzoyan evaluated the summary of the project “Implementation of the decisions of the September (2021) session of the Collective Security Council Program for the implementation of the priority directions of the CSTO activities during the presidency of Armenia”.
Stanislav Zas presented the provisions of the mentioned program in detail and assured that all the necessary efforts will be put by the joint staff and the CSTO administration to implement them in time.
At the meeting, Ararat Mirzoyan also presented the situation in the Armenian eastern border zone and stressed the necessity of practical steps to increase the level of security and stability according to the trilateral announcement of November 26, 2021.
In the context of the mentioned and present regional developments, the allied cooperation of the member states was evaluated once more in providing security and stability on a collective basis.
