Georgia reported 2 164 coronavirus cases, 3 767 recoveries, and 68 deaths on Thursday, the official figures show, the First Channel reports.
Georgian capital Tbilisi recorded the highest number of 1 074 Covid-19 cases within the last 24 hours, followed by the Imereti region with 291 cases, and the Adjara region with 149 cases.
A total of 43 437 tests have been conducted in the past 24 hours throughout the country. Among them, 25 020 tests were rapid tests, while the remaining 18 417 were PCR tests.
The daily test-positivity rate stands at 4, 98 %, while 6, 43 % in the past 14 days.
Georgia’s total case tally reached 918 641 among them 873 178 people recovered and 13 289 died.
There are 34 people quarantined, 5 327 Covid-19 patients are hospitalized, 1 009 asymptomatic, and mild symptom patients are placed at the government-assigned facilities.
As of December 23, 2 428 334 people got the Covid-19 vaccine, with 12 351 in a day.
