On December 21, the delegation led by Head of the central Ile-de-France Paris region, Valérie Pécresse, who arrived in Armenia on a working visit, visited Tsitsernakaberd Armenian Genocide Memorial.
Harutyun Marutyan, Director of the Armenian Genocide Museum-Institute, welcoming the guests presented the story of the creation of the memorial to them.
The members of the delegation from France laid flowers at the eternal fire and observed a minute of silence in memory of the consecrated martyrs of the Armenian Genocide.
At the end of the visit, Valérie Pécresse walked around the Memory Park and watered the silvery fir-tree she planted in 2018.
