The State Service of Emergency Situations Artsakh’s (Nagorno-Karabakh) Ministry of Internal Affairs sums up last week. From December 13 to 19, 2021, a total of 478 calls were registered at the State Service of Emergency Situations Crisis Management Center, 7 of which were on fire.
One of the fires was registered in the administrative area of Khachen village of Askeran region. The other incidents took place in Stepanakert, in domestic buildings and dumps. No one was injured.
Two calls were registered in the 911 call center regarding the traffic accident. Rescuers responded quickly to the calls and provided appropriate support. Unfortunately, one fatal traffic accident was registered yesterday, on December 19, in the Marakert region.
During the week, 32 household calls were registered.
Rescuers took 6 citizens with health problems to a medical facility. In order to supply water to the population (Askeran region), 3 exits were made. Six calls were responded regarding the opening of the door.
The sapper groups of the service for detecting and destroying ammunition of different types and calibers, together with the sappers of the Humanitarian Demining Center Foundation and The Halo Trust, carry out daily reconnaissance work in all regions of the country.
During the week, 23 rocket-propelled grenades, 1 cluster bomb and 1 rocket were found.
The State Service of Emergency Situations of the Ministry of Internal Affairs continues the round-the-clock enhanced service in the whole territory of Artsakh.
