Within the visit to the USA, Armen Grigoryan, the Armenian Security Council Secretary met with Dereck J. Hogan, the US Principal Deputy Assistant Secretary. The Armenian Security Council office reported.
Hogan highly appreciated the participation of Armenia in the “Summit for Democracy”, evaluating the democratic achievements in Armenia.
The Secretary, in his turn thanked for the invitation to participate in the summit and affirmed Armenia’s determination for the democratic reforms.
The developments in the region, prospects of establishing long-lasting peace and Armenia’s regional role were also discussed at the meeting.
