On December 16, Armenian Deputy Prime Minister Hambardzum Matevosyan received Sergey Kopirkin, the Russian Ambassador to Armenia.
Greeting the Ambassador, Matevosyan highly evaluated the Armenian-Russian relations expressing his readiness to promote its deepening and development.
The Deputy PM mentioned that in the previous status the bilateral cooperation has been quite efficient and a good experience was accumulated to go on the same way and succeed.
The Russian Ambassador congratulated Hambardzum Matevosyan on assuming the position of the Armenian PM.
He recorded that a wide agenda of bilateral cooperation is formulated and there are all the prerequisites to advance current programs and initiate new ones.
The sides discussed the prospects of developing the Russian-Armenian relations in the fields of infrastructure, mining, transport communication, technological development.
In this context, a reference was made to the current and initiated programs in the sphere of energetics, particularly the partnership of “Rosatom” and the Government.
