Georgia reported 3 123 coronavirus cases, 4 215 recoveries, and 39 deaths on Thursday, the official figures show.
Georgian capital Tbilisi recorded the highest number of 1 430 Covid-19 cases within the last 24 hours, followed by the Imereti region with 481 cases, and the Adjara region with 243 cases.
A total of 48 898 tests have been conducted in the past 24 hours throughout the country. Among them, 31 214 tests were rapid tests, while the remaining 17 684 were PCR tests.
The daily test-positivity rate stands at 6, 34 %, while 7, 39 % in the past 14 days.
Georgia’s total case tally reached 901 202 among them 849 090 people recovered and 12 918 died.
There are 33 people quarantined, 5 882 Covid-19 patients are hospitalized, 1 137 asymptomatic, and mild symptom patients are placed at the government-assigned facilities.
As of December 16, 2 349 643 people got the Covid-19 vaccine, with 11 161 in a day.
