The servicemen of the Russian peacekeeping contingent ensured the safety of sowing various crops near the demarcation line of the parties in the village of Machkalashen in the Martuni district of Nagorno-Karabakh. During the week, with the assistance of the servicemen of the Russian peacekeeping contingent, the workers sowed more than 40 hectares of sown area with seeds of different varieties.
In order to carry out security tasks in remote areas of Nagorno-Karabakh, a schedule is being drawn up, according to which peacekeepers fulfill requests received through the public reception of the Russian peacekeeping contingent in Stepanakert.
Specialists of the Russian Humanitarian Response Center perform various tasks to ensure security in the region, including civilians during agricultural, engineering and preventive work, as well as when pilgrims visit monastery complexes located near the demarcation line of the parties in Nagorno-Karabakh.
