The first joint session of the Armenian-French working group on economic cooperation took place in Paris, during which issues related to bilateral cooperation were discussed.
The Armenian delegation headed by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Armenia Ararat Mirzoyan included the Deputy Minister of High-Tech Industry of the Republic of Armenia Robert Khachatryan.
During the working group discussions, the need to organize the exchange of experience between the two countries in the field of digitalization, innovation and high technologies through seminars and bilateral visits was touched upon.
At the end of the meeting, Robert Khachatryan had a private talk with Clara Marshall, Head of the Foreign Trade and Economic Attraction Mission of the Department of Economic Diplomacy of the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The Deputy Minister referred to the possibility of providing representation of French companies in the ‘Factory City’. Clara Marshall was interested in the offer, and did not rule out such cooperation.
As a result of the meetings and discussions, an agreement was reached to continue the contacts on a working basis in order to start and develop cooperation on the discussed topics.
