The President of the Constitutional Court of Armenia Arman Dilanyan sent a congratulatory message to the newly elected President of the European Commission for Democracy through Law (Venice Commission) Claire Bazy Malaurie, who was elected to this position on December 10, this year, during the 129th plenary session of the Venice Commission.
The congratulatory message, in particular, reads:
“On behalf of the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Armenia, I warmly congratulate you on your election as President of the European Commission for Democracy through Law (Venice Commission).
I express the full support of the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Armenia in the successful implementation of your high mission.
Taking this opportunity, I reaffirm our effective partnership with the Venice Commission and our sincere commitment to continue traditionally strong ties. In this context, I kindly invite you and look forward to hosting you on an official visit to Armenia in the near future.”
Claire Bazy Malaurie who has been a member of the Constitutional Council of the French Republic since 2010. He is the President of the Venice Commission for a two-year term, with the possibility of re-election until December 2023.
