The construction of a new highway connecting the Khramort community to the regional center has started in the Askeran region, Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh).
The Ministry of Urban Development of Artsakh informs that the construction is carried out with the direct participation of the representatives of the Russian peacekeeping mission, who ensure the safe implementation of the works.
“In the post-war period, based on the existing realities, the construction of a new road is of great importance, as it will not only be used by the Russian peacekeeping troops as a route, but will be a safer way of communication between the residents of Khramort and Askeran.”
The length of the highway will be more than 3.5 km. The earthworks will be completed by the end of the year,” the Ministry said.
