The meeting of the G7 foreign ministers will take place on December 11-12 in Liverpool, UK.
According to the G7 foreign ministries, the issues on the agenda will be relations with Russia, China and Iran, human rights, the fight against the coronavirus, climate change, tensions in the Western Balkans, Afghanistan and North Korea.
British Foreign Secretary Liz Truss noted that “the G7 meeting is a demonstration of the unity of major economies.” According to her, the situation on the Russian-Ukrainian border will be the priority of the parties. The British Foreign Secretary says that attention will also be paid to alternatives to Russian gas supplies.
The G7 member states are the United Kingdom, the United States, Canada, France, Germany, Italy and Japan. At the invitation of London, representatives of South Korea, South Africa and India will take part in the meeting as guests.
