Georgia reported 3 454 coronavirus cases, 3 334 recoveries, and 49 deaths on Friday, the official figures show.
Georgian capital Tbilisi recorded the highest number of 1 575 Covid-19 cases within the last 24 hours, followed by the Imereti region with 543 cases, and the Shida Kartli region with 280 cases.
A total of 50 623 tests have been conducted in the past 24 hours throughout the country. Among them, 29 925 tests were rapid tests, while the remaining 20 698 were PCR tests.
The daily test-positivity rate stands at 6, 82 %, while 8, 06% in the past 14 days.
Georgia’s total case tally reached 882 822 among them 825 442 people recovered and 12 631 died.
There are 35 people quarantined, 6 266 Covid-19 patients are hospitalized, 1 172 asymptomatic, and mild symptom patients are placed at the government-assigned facilities.
As of December 10, 2 287 645 people got the Covid-19 vaccine, with 9 813 in a day.
