Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan received Jagan Chapagain, the Secretary General of the International Federation of Red Cross.
The PM evaluated the continuous active cooperation with the IFRC in solving a number of humanitarian issues. Nikol Pashinyan particularly emphasized the fact of many humanitarian issues because of the 44-day war unleashed against Artsakh and the necessity of active engagement of the IFRC in the direction of settling them. The leader added that after the war, Azerbaijan till the day continues not implementing the commitments of the November 9, 2020 announcement and emphasized the importance of the adequate response from the international organizations in providing the return of the Armenian POWs, captives and other detainees.
Jagan Chapagain, the Secretary General of the International Federation of Red Cross mentioned that an effective and close cooperation has been formulated with the Armenian Government and added that the federation will actively continue the efforts to promote the solution of the different humanitarian issues.
During the meeting, issues related to implementing humanitarian programs in our country by the federation were also discussed.
