Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan participated in the opening of “Summit for Democracy”, which was held online. The summit was organized with the initiative of the US President Joe Biden. Leaders and representatives of more than hundred countries participate in the two-day event.
Joe Biden made a speech at the opening of the summit, after which the panel discussions have started.
Representatives of non-governmental organizations and the private sector also participate in the summit.
Resisting the threats against democracy, fight against corruption and human rights defense are in the agenda of the discussions.
The speech of the PM Nikol Pashinyan is designed for December 10.
