The UN International Court of Justice will announce its decision on Armenia’s claim against Azerbaijan on December 7.
Armenia filed a lawsuit at the Hague Tribunal on September 16, under the International Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Racial Discrimination against Azerbaijan. The Armenian side presented evidence of torture against Armenian captives and other detainees held in Azerbaijan.
Armenia had asked the International Court of Justice to consider the motion for interim measures, obliging Azerbaijan to release the Armenian prisoners of war first and to close the ‘Trophy Park’ in Baku.
The Court heard the case of ‘Armenia v. Azerbaijan’ on October 14 and 15.
The decision of the Court in the case ‘Azerbaijan v. Armenia’ will be published today.
