The Sputnik Light COVID-19 vaccine produced in Armenia will be available to the citizens of Armenia and will be provided free of charge, like other vaccines.
"In the very near future, the state will carry out the process of purchasing the produced booster vaccine (Sputnik Light), it will be available in polyclinics. This vaccine will definitely be in our range. Our citizens can apply for the third booster dose and get the Sputnik Light. It is very gratifying that the pharmaceutical production in the Republic of Armenia is taking a step, a very big step, forwarding both technologically and professionally, and realizing its potential to produce new types of products in all respects," said Minister of Health of Armenia Anahit Avanesyan at a press conference today. She stated that the vaccine is allowed in our country to citizens over 18 years old.
“We have come a long way with our Russian partners and ‘Liqvor’ Armenian company, which meets the highest quality standards in the pharmaceutical industry, so that today we have ready-made products meeting all quality standards produced in Armenia and ready to enter the market. Negotiations are underway to clarify possible export directions,” said Armenia’s Minister of Economy Vahan Kerobyan.
