Georgia reported 4 100 coronavirus cases, 3 397 recoveries, and 67 deaths on Friday, the official figures show, the First Channel reports.
Georgian capital Tbilisi recorded the highest number of 1 658 Covid-19 cases within the last 24 hours, followed by the Imereti region with 675 cases, and the Shida Kartli region with 401 cases.
A total of 51 749 tests have been conducted in the past 24 hours throughout the country. Among them, 31 223 tests were rapid tests, while the remaining 20 526 were PCR tests.
The daily test-positivity rate stands at 7, 92 %, while 8, 75% in the past 14 days.
Georgia’s total case tally reached 857 933 among them 799 850 people recovered and 12 258 died.
There are 331 people quarantined, 6 550 Covid-19 patients are hospitalized, 1 127 asymptomatic, and mild symptom patients are placed at the government-assigned facilities.
As of December 3, 2 311 839 people got the Covid-19 vaccine, with 11 699 in a day.
