Representatives of the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) continue dialogue with the Azerbaijani authorities to meet with those captured during the November 16 provocation in Azerbaijan.
Zara Amatuni, Head of the Red Cross communication programs in Armenia, told ‘Lurer’ that they are in touch with the families of the captives. On November 25, the European Court of Human Rights ruled in favor of the four detainees, upholding an interim measure from human rights activists.
Until December 1, that is, today, the ECHR gave Baku time to provide information about the servicemen captured on November 16. The representative of Armenia in the European Court filed a complaint against them as an interim measure.
“Our main dialogue takes place with the relevant bodies, the representatives of the authorities, and only their official confirmation is the basis for making an appointment. We continue to be in touch with people looking for their relatives,” said Zara Amatuni, head of communications programs at the ICRC delegation in Armenia.
