At the Parliament, journalists asked Chairman of the State Revenue Committee Rustam Badasyan about the installation of customs checkpoints on the Goris-Kapan highway.
“Our customs officers are already serving in those areas. Of course, the issue has not reached the main functions, that is, it will be in the cases when a corresponding car crosses the border of the Republic of Armenia, and there occurs a need to establish customs control.
Some work is being done to provide additional working conditions for customs officers in these areas. Some of our state services were already providing services in those areas. The customs officers are temporarily stationed in the same places as other state services, until the creation of relevant additional services,” Badasyan said.
