On November 30, the Deputy Chair of the RA NA Standing Committee on Economic Affairs Babken Tunyan met with the Chair of the Greece-Armenia Friendship Group of Hellenic Parliament Dimitrios Markopoulos and the members of the Delegation.
The interlocutors have highly appreciated the Armenian-Greek centuries-old friendship, noting that though they are firm, nevertheless there is potential for developing. The trade-economic relations between the two countries were touched upon.
Babken Tunyan has noted that the Government together with the National Assembly has done big amount of work and now continues to do works for the improvement of the investment field and the tax system and making more comfortable the business environment. In the coming years in terms of recording tangible results in a number of spheres of the economy he highlighted the financial support of 2.5bln Euros to be received from the European Union.
The interlocutors also discussed other issues of common interest.
