Perild reports.
The European Union has already agreed on the fifth package of sanctions against Belarus. It is expected to come into force on December 1. The restrictions will be imposed on 28 people and organizations. About it informs Radio Liberty Brussels journalist Ricard Jozwiak.
“The EU foreign ministers have officially approved the new criteria for sanctions for Belarus,” the journalist wrote on Twitter.
He stressed that as soon as the European diplomats give the green light for sanctions, the list will be published the next day in an official EU release.
As a reminder, on November 15 it became known that the EU had approved new criteria for sanctions for Belarus.
On the same day, the US announced sanctions against Belarus. Washington will introduce new sanctions against Minsk due to the situation with migrants on the border with the European Union.
