Our assessment is as follows, Azerbaijani troops invaded the sovereign territory of Armenia, the Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan said during the Putin-Pashinyan-Aliyev trilateral meeting. He stressed the role of the Russian Federation and Vladimir Putin personally in the termination of the military activities.
“It is obvious that Russia and the Russian peacekeepers have a key role in stabilizing the situation and peace in the region. But I must mention that the situation is not as stable as we would like”, said Pashinyan. The PM added that after November of the last year, dozens of people from the both sides have died.
Pashinyan stressed that there are incidents in both Nagorno-Karabakh and the borders of Armenia.
“After this year’s May 12, we have an actual crisis situation on the Armenian-Azerbaijani border. Our assessment is as follows, Azerbaijani troops invaded the sovereign territory of Armenia. The border between Armenia and Azerbaijan is not marked, but the state border exists and it is the sovereign territory of Armenia”, said Pashinyan.
